PERMANENT MAKEUP AFTERCARE
Rest assured the equipment used is the latest and most technologically advanced. Like medical equipment, permanent cosmetic equipment is safe by design against cross contamination. All needles are single use only and device parts are autoclavable. Strict sanitation and sterilization guidelines are followed in accordance with the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention).
What You Need to Know
After your procedure, we will walk through your aftercare instructions. There will most likely be some swelling of the procedural area if an eyeliner or a lip procedure was performed (eyebrow procedures produce very little noticeable swelling.) An example often given with eyeliner is that if you swell after crying or if reacting to environmental allergies, you will probably swell almost exactly that amount during/after the procedure. The day after the permanent makeup normally represents the timeframe when swelling is most prevalent. Outer healing time varies. Outer time represents how the procedure “appears.” Within several days the appearance of the procedure may appear healed, or as a minimum will take on a softer look.
We’ll have a follow-up appointment in 4 to 6 to check the inner healing (biological healing) is complete and carry out any touch-up work. This second procedure will be much like the first, though will probably not take as long.

EYELASH AFTERCARE
Lash extensions are a popular service that elongates your eyelashes by adding synthetic lash to each individual eyelash. The extensions themselves are curved to replicate the look and feel of a natural lash. The lashes are applied one by one to create a luxurious, plush look to accentuate the eyes. Lash extensions are ideal for weddings, vacations, big events, and everyday.

Properly applied eyelash extensions will last the growth of your natural eyelash cycle. Just like the hairs on your head, lashes shed and regrow naturally. The longevity of lash extensions vary form person to person, based on everyone’s own activities. The extensions are applied with a special water – proof bonding agent that keeps them in tact. Typically you should receive a touch – up every three to four weeks.

-
Can I wear Mascara?
-
It isn’t recommended to wear mascara with your new lash extensions, but the good news is that you won’t need any! Extensions mimic the look of mascara without the clumps and mess. Oil based and water proof mascara is never to be worn, as oil deteriorates the bonding glue that holds your extensions on. Water based mascara is permitted but not recommended since the abrasiveness of removal will decrease the longevity of your lashes.
-
-
Can I get my extensions wet?
-
Yes! You will not have to sacrifice your everyday activities for lash extensions. You can exercise, swim, and shower as you normally would. However, it is important to not get your lashes wet until 24 hours after application. This allows the bonding agent to dry properly to keep your lashes lasting as long as possible!
-
-
Can I use an eyelash curler?
-
Your extensions will have a natural curl that shouldn’t require any use of mechianical eyelash curlers. Curling the lash extensions is not recommended because it may damage them and reduce the longevity of your lashes.
-
-
Will eyelash extensions harm my natural eyelashes?
-
No! Lash extensions are applied directly to your natural lashes and will cause no damage to the lash. Do not be alarmed if you noticed extensions falling out with your lash still attached to them- this is completely normal since lashes shed naturally. Be sure not to tug or pull on your extensions to avoid accidentally pulling out any natural lashes. When your lash extensions are either removed or grown out, your natural lashes will remain completely intact.
